Outdoor Space

Seeds to Stars Daycare Nursery is situated on the edge of the city within easy access to several of the most beautiful outdoor areas the city has to offer.

The nursery itself has a large playground with large areas of astro turf, a massive outdoor play structure incorporating slides, see saws and several other play events that provide challenges for all the age groups. Alongside there are large decked areas both in open and under cover to provide surfaces for all year long play access. With planters to grow our own flowers and vegetables as well as mud kitchens and sand and water play opportunities, the outdoor areas are beautifully appointed to give the best experiences possible to our children.

There are mark-making areas, number games, sand, cars, weaving activities, den-making resources and many more.

Children go out in all weathers and we have rain suits and wellingtons as well as suncream and sun hats.

The outside areas are set up everyday and planning ensures that there are activities to help children develop in all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
